Phone:415 841 1436 Hello and welcome. The purpose of this site is to share my very own lampwork bead jewelry. It shall include a little humor, some snark, a tad of insight. I've been making lampwork beads and subsequently jewelry that incorporates re-purposed charms, my own resin collages and all kinds of beads for about 5 years. A lifelong artist, I love love love all aspects of this work. Lampworking hot glass is quite sweet, sexy and exciting. As is the hunt for the little things that speak to me and join with the glass to make the piece whole. It culminates in lovely hours of sitting, pondering, putting together and taking apart until I know the individual piece is correct: balanced, interesting and reflective of my processes. Artsists often obsess on their process, and I'm guilty as charged. So my glass beads and jewelry are made to a high standard of excellence- well annealed, joined with care and tested for strength. I adore sending the jewelry out into the world, to accompany people on their way through this crazy universe, with some beauty. Thanks for taking the time to look. |
